Amanda McGee is an artist, teacher, and children’s program coordinator. From 2003-2011, she taught classes and coordinated “Art a La Carte,” an art and movement summer camp, at Chastain Arts Center. Amanda enjoys experimenting with all kinds of art and craft media and brings that sense of play and exploration into her classes. In addition to Chastain Arts Center, she has taught for the High Museum, the Atlanta YMCA, Nirvana Yoga, and for families and playgroups all over the Atlanta area. She holds a BFA with a concentration in sculpture from the Atlanta College of Art and received her yoga teaching certification from Nirvana School of Classical Yoga.
